Outdoor fun is the keyword in Boulder. Summer or winter, there's plenty to keep you occupied and some of these things to do are backpacking, bicycling and mountain climbing, among others. Boulder also offers lots of parks worth going to if you wish to commune with nature.

Chautauqua Park is a petite, but beautiful park that is situated at the west end of the Baseline Road and at the base of the Flatirons. You'll find hiking paths in various directions which connect you with locations like Gregory Canyon and Flagstaff Mountain. A very popular and simple trail is the Mesa Trail, that extends for about 7 miles from Eldorado Canyon to Chautaqua. You can also select more challenging trails that lead to the Shadow Canyon, Bear Canyon and the Fern Canyon.

Many different industries across the Colorado, including the real estate sector, are in the beginning stages of what people are now calling a “come-back”.  The come-back initialized in February when increases in home sales and decreases in foreclosures could be seen across Colorado especially in the Boulder/Denver area.  Homes that are priced for less than $500 thousand have been flying off the market in record time which many are attributing to low volumes of inventory, even lower interest rates, an improved local job market, recent hikes in rent, and an overall increase in buyer's demand.

Although these changes can be seen across the board for this particular price point the overall inventory of homes for sale is significantly lower then anticipated.
