Looking for something fun, artistic, educational, and truly unique to Boulder to do this Presidents weekend? Then pick up your tickets in advance and head over to the Boulder International Film Festival. This event has been named one the “25 Coolest Film Festivals” in the world and is expecting huge turn outs and great success this year just as with every year passed.
Starting February 14th with a grand red carpet event, the Boulder International Film Festival will run through Sunday, February 17th 2013. Tickets are available to buy on-line at the Boulder Theater or can be purchased at the door for each venue. Please note space is limited and if there is one event in particular that you have to see, buying ticket online is strongly recommended. Celebrating everything that is great about the art of cinema, thousands of people will lay siege to the downtown area of Boulder, Colorado this weekend where they will attend film viewings, parties, forums, workshops, and the red-carpet gala. Events will be spread out between several venues including the Boulder Theater, Boulder High, eTown Hall, First Methodist Church, Boulder Public Library, St Julien, The Bitter Bar, The Lazy Dog, and The Lounge.
The Opening Night Red Carpet Gala will be hosted at the Hotel Boulderado and at Rembrandt Yard. Tickets cost $65 per person with the event going on from 5:30-7:30pm. For the price of admission you get two parties at two venues with free drinks, food, live music and dancing. Immediately following the gala, the Boulder Theater will open its doors at 7:30pm for the premier of “Muscle Shoals.”
