symphonyperformance_500A couple of weeks ago we talked about the Boulder Ballet and Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of the holiday classic The Nutcracker. If you didn't get the chance to see the show, there's still time to get your live holiday music fix. This month the Colorado Symphony will host numerous holiday shows to get you in the Christmas spirit. From December 9 to 11 the group, accompanied by the Colorado Symphony Chorus, the Colorado Children's Chorale and professional vocalists, will perform classic Christmas carols and songs. Tis the season for The Nutcracker

A toy-making godfather with a patch over one eye. A fierce battle between toy-soldiers and a group of mice. Sugar plum fairies twirling as snow falls from the sky. And who could forget that beautiful Tchaikovsky music. It must be time for the famous Nutcracker ballet.

Christmas is only a few weeks away, so take your family to see this fairytale come to life. Showcased by the Boulder Ballet, Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and the Boulder Children’s Chorale, the performance takes place the Macky Auditorium on the following days: November 25 at 4:00pm, November 26 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, and November 27 at 2:00pm.
