Now that the cold weather has moved into the Boulder area, you are probably looking for something fun to do indoors, right? Well, I am here to remind you about the many bowling opportunities in the area. Although there is actually only one hometown bowling alley in the City of Boulder, which happens to be on the CU campus, there are several other places to bowl nearby, some of which go well beyond your traditional old school alleys. So, the next time you want something to do with your kids, friends, grandparents or for date night, consider knocking down some pins at one of the Front Range's bowling alleys.

If I thought a lot happened the last time I reported in, it hardly compares to the house selling marathon I have been going through in the last few weeks.  Putting the final touches on our for sale townhome in Westminster, after completing the main repairs and staging, proved to a bit more challenging than I thought it would be.  Undoubtedly the toughest part about selling our home so far has been keeping it clean.  Luckily for us things have been moving pretty quickly and we have had no choice, but to keep up! With that being said, I am proud to say that all our hard work and planning paid off in a big way. Here's what has happened since the last time I wrote about my home buying and selling experience.

Buying and Selling At The Same TimeLike many people, my husband and I have decided to sell our existing home and buy a new one this upcoming 2013 spring/summer.  With all the good predictions for the year to come, we feel that it is time to move out and up.  The home buying experience is one we have gone through before, but selling a home is totally new to us. I would like to share my home buying and selling experience in hopes that it shows the true reality of what buying and selling a home simultaneously is like.  For some this road is bumpy, while for others it is as smooth as butter.  For us, I have a feeling it will be somewhere in between.

The first thing I have done in order to get ready to sell our home is to figure out a timeline of when we want to move and what things we need

Meadow View Estates homeWestminster, Colorado is my favorite suburb in the Metro-Denver area because it has a primo location, great city services, breathtaking views, and tons of affordable housing options. There is also a lot of new construction happening all over the city providing homeowners with more fantastic selections and amenities.

The Meadow View Estates at Walnut Creek Subdivision is a mix of old and new homes as well as undeveloped lots. The older homes sit further back in the neighborhoods and offer spectacular views of the Rockies and spacious lots. Newer development has been completed toward the front of the complex and these homes are big, beautiful, and contemporary. Undeveloped lots are currently being sold in Meadow View Estates as well and will be the most

City Park Recreation Center Westminster ColoradoCity Park in Westminster Colorado is one of my family’s favorite places. Whether we are looking for fun in the sun, a day spent at the indoor pool, or just a quick 15 minute playground play session, City Park never disappoints. The park itself is huge and offers some of the most beautiful views around of the Rocky Mountains and the City of Westminster. Park amenities include a covered pavilion, outdoor restroom facilities, Christopher Fields, tons of picnic tables, a small lake for fishing, 4 soccer fields, an 18-hole disc golf course, a skate park, tons of multi-use trails, and a jogging track.  City Park also has an amazing recreation/aquatic center and a fitness center.  These two facilities offer classes and activities for people of all ages as well
