Newlands Real Estate
This is one of Boulder's most popular neighborhoods. As a family-oriented community, real estate in Newlands is comprised largely of single homes, bungalows, remodels, and multi-family units in a wide range of prices towards the luxury end of the scale. The community encircles North Boulder park where it's common to run across all-ages games of frisbee and soccer in the fields, or people just reading in the sun. Newlands parks also include areas for skating and cross country skiing in the winter. The community's well organized neighborhood association, Newlands Neighbors, holds bi-monthly meetings for local businesses and property owners.
Newlands was originally organized as "The Foothills Neighborhood". Residents here enjoy some of the best views of Boulder's iconic rock formations, The Flatirons, which sharply break the plains east of the city.
With its wide assortment of stores and close proximity to Pearl Street Mall, Newlands is a premier shopping destination in Boulder. You are also close Mt. Sanitas for hiking or Ideal Market, Vics coffe House, Masa Mexican restaurant, or the popular Hungry Toad Pub.

Dakota Ridge Real EstateTop
A great place to call home. Located right against the foothills and adjoining open space, this newer, less crowded neighborhood boasts attractions that include a central park and easy access to trails. The popular Saturday morning road bicycle ride to Lyons and beautiful Apple Valley is just outside your door. Families thrive amidst this access to parkland, hiking, biking, and invigorating mountain streams.
If getting out of the "saddle" is more your thing, you are right at the entrance to Lee Hill and a great ride from Jamestown for a latte and cruise back home.
Dakota Ridge is located off Lee Road in the far north section of Boulder, where neighborhoods like this are the fastest growing in the city. As a result, Dakota Ridge real estate features a wide assortment of newer homes. Expansion in Dakota Ridge is checked by the recently formed Dakota Ridge Area Neighborhood Association, a group providing representation for property owners.
Moores Real EstateTop
Originally developed in the 40's and 50's, this neighborhood has really come alive over the past few years. Boasting .3 to .5 acre lots, Moores is seeing a revival, with many pop-tops and teardowns.
Moores is a subdivision in North Boulder boasting some of the city's oldest properties, as well as a growing number of new homes. Established homes in Moores date back to the early 1900s, and feature classic two-floor ranch designs with peaked roofs and large covered front porches, while newer houses come in a wide range of custom and traditional builds. Prices here vary, but Moores real estate is generally known as one of Boulder's more opulent investments.
Stakeholders in Boulder's continued expansion look to Moores as one of the city's fastest growing neighborhoods. As a result, new homes may soon define the area to a larger extent than older homes. Moores is located in North Boulder near Kalima and Uptown Broadway.
North Briar Real Estate Top
North Briar is a budding community of newer homes, and a good place check out the rapid growth of Boulder's northern section within the past few years. Located just south of another expanding area, Dakota Ridge, homes in North Briar real estate are perhaps slightly more luxurious and higher-priced than in neighboring communities. Many properties here border open space affording stunning views of the Rocky Mountain foothills.
An added bonus, North Briar's hilly terrain means buildings here often have views from every room. With 5000 square feet not uncommon for North Briar homes, that's a lot of room with a view. North Briar is easily accessed off Lee Hill Rd.

Hikers can also survey parts of the ponderosa pine forest rebuilding from the 1990 Olde Stage Fire. The trailhead is accessed from the west side to the North Foothills Highway access road. Sports enthusiasts also enjoy Four Mile Creek for its Pleasant View soccer field complex.

This special community of 52 homes is only 500 yards from Boulder Reservoir, which allows waterskiing and has a great beach for summer fun. It is also surrounded by open space. Each lot is an acre or more and allows a maximum of 2 horses. All this, yet still only 7 minutes away from downtown Boulder. Valhalla says it perfectly; this area is truly heaven.

Chautauqua Real EstateTop
“Chautauqua” is an Iroquois word with an unclear etymology that came to designate a lake in western New York. It was in New York that the Chautauqua movement of the late 1800s and early 1900s was born, starting as an educational camp for Sunday school teachers, and blossoming into a widespread intellectual campaign. Chautauquas began forming across the country as academic institutes similar to colleges, where professors and scholars would visit to lecture on a variety of topics, reflecting a nation-wide interest in the professionalism of teaching. Theodore Roosevelt called the movement “typically American, in that it is typical of America at its best.”
Boulder’s Chautauqua, opened in 1898, is a Victorian-styled auditorium surrounded by a cluster of 60 original cottages, and is one of just three remaining such sites in the country today, making it a popular tourist spot. Chautauqua Park is listed on the national register of historic places.
The site is still popular with intellectuals and its central lawn is a beautiful place to sit and read for an afternoon. Chautauqua real estate is a mix of new and old homes, fringed by the flatirons and hiking trails. The neighborhood itself is accessed south of Baseline and West of Broadway, below the historic park.
Whittier Real EstateTop
Whittier is a well-established neighborhood in central Boulder with a mix of residential and commercial properties. Close to downtown, as well as Pearl Street, residents of Whittier can walk or bike almost anywhere, with amenities just a stone’s throw away. The neighborhood includes the residential sections of Boulder between Bluff Street to the north, Canyon Boulevard to the south, Broadway to the west, and 28th street to the east, and can be easily accessed from Folsom and Broadway.
If you’re looking for a classic 1920s style bungalow, Whittier real estate is for you. One of Boulder’s historic neighborhoods, Whittier features the city’s longest continually running school, and residents here are pushing for a neighborhood historic district. Newer homes here include the stylish Whittier Square Condos, built in the 1980s.

Pearl Street is Boulder's finest commercial district, often referred to as the “Rodeo Drive” of Boulder. At the center of all the activity is Pearl Street Mall, a tourism hotspot where talented street performers abound and live music often fills the air. On summer days, mall-goers can often be found cooling off in the numerous water fountains here. Pearl Street Mall isn't really a mall in the traditional sense, but a European-modeled pedestrian area with many boutiques, cafes, bookstores, galleries, and fine dining spots. Unlike Rodeo Drive there are no convertibles or cars of any kind allowed here, just pedestrians and bikes, making it an ideal family spot.
More than 359,000 square feet of class A leaseable space is available here from Pearl Street Mall properties. If you're looking for a home in Pearl Street real estate, a select number of stylish properties are available in East Pearl.
Mapleton Hill Real EstateTop
Character Victorian and Queen Ann homes abound in Mapleton Hill real estate, one of Boulder's oldest neighborhoods. Mapleton Hill dates back to 1882, and is one of the only areas in Boulder with its own Historic District, established as such in the mid 1980s. Streets here are lined with vintage homes and signage illuminating the days of Mapleton Hill past. Architects may debate whether these buildings were founded on east-coast architecture influenced by western style, or vice-versa, but they all agree homes here are beautiful and unique. Many homes have been converted for bed and breakfasts and multi-family use.
Mapleton Hill is in North Boulder at the mouth of Sunshine Canyon, just a few blocks off West Pearl Street and next to Pearl Street Mall. Residents here enjoy a little bit of everything – beautiful homes within walking distance of shopping on one side, and foothills hiking and biking on the other.
Panorama Heights Real EstateTop
As the name suggests, Panorama real estate affords some of the best views of Boulder’s cityscape. Homes here sit atop a bluff overlooking Boulder, with commanding views of the city below as well as the Front Range mountains behind it.
A centrally located neighborhood, Panorama is within walking distance of Pearl Street Mall, but miles apart in terms of setting. Unlike Pearl Street, Panorama is a residential neighborhood without heavy commercial traffic. Homes here are often much bigger than the average, spreading out evenly onto the hilly terrain. Some nice view acreages are up for sale here as well. Panorama is accessed off of 19th street.
Baseline: Located along Baseline Road, west of Foothills Blvd. This neighborhood has been popular with people attending CU. Most homes were built in the late 1950's and consist of 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms at approximately 900 square feet.
Park East: Is a centrally located neighborhood between Baseline and Colorado. This neighborhood is great for Students attending CU or those who wish to have quick access to Foothill and 36.
Country Club Greens: Located off of Baseline and 55th this neighborhood offer homes built in the 60’s through the 80’s and in recent years has been popular for pop tops with the large yards and close proximity to Eisenhower Elementary.
Meadows: Located along Flatirons Golf Course and Centennial trail this neighborhood was developed in the late 80 and early 90’s. It offers a full spectrum of homes from townhouses to single family.
The Reserve (Sombrero Ranch): Is one of Boulder’s few fully planned communities with swimming pool and tennis courts. If you are looking for a larege home over 3500 square feet and larger lot this might just be your new home.
University Hill Real Estate Top
The University Hill community is a vibrant mix of young and old, popular with students at the University of Colorado, as well as with longtime residents. A variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues blend nicely with the nearby university campus, and make the area a little more self-sustaining and tightly-knit than others. University Hill’s neighborhood association is one of the most active and inclusive in Boulder.
University Hill real estate combines single and multi-family homes as well as a large number of rental properties – with constant demand for housing here due to the proximity to the school, these make a good investment. Many homes here date back to the late 1950s. The neighborhood borders the campus at Fourth Street in Central Boulder, and is commonly accessed from Broadway and Sixth street.

Table Mesa Real EstateTop
Nestled at the base of the foothills and replete with stunning mountain views, Table Mesa is a very sought-after neighborhood. Homes here are often luxury styled, with checklisted features like vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, and hardwood floors. If you’re new to the area and looking for a neighborhood featuring the best of Boulder real estate, Table Mesa is not to be missed.
Table Mesa is located just west of Broadway in South Boulder. The community is also home to a thriving commercial district. Breweries here serve up pints of local beer, while Table Mesa Shopping Center, one of Boulder’s most popular malls, offers a wide selection of regional and chain retailers.
Martin Acres Real EstateTop
When Outside Magazine named Boulder one of the best places to live, Martin Acres was mentioned because you could find a nice home for under $300k. Things have changed a little bit, but you can still find a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath or tri-level in Martin Acres from the mid $300's.
Located in southern Boulder, Martin Acres real estate is a large residential area consisting of more than 1,300 single family homes and three apartment complexes. Most homes here were built in the 1950s, and come at affordable prices not easily found elsewhere in Boulder. Because of this accessibility, the neighborhood was mentioned in an Outside Magazine article that named Boulder one of the best places to live.
Homes in Martin Acres often come in stylish single-floor rancher styles with an average of 2500 square feet. The neighborhood is accessed east of Broadway and north of Table Mesa.
Keewayden: Located off of Baseline and Manhattan Keewayden is great for those wishing to commute outside of Boulder, but still be in town. It is just a stone throw away from the East Boulder Rec Center and great hiking and biking trails.
Devil's Thumb Subdivision - Located just below ENCAR and at the upper end of Table Mesa. This neighborhood is blessed with everything close to great schools such as Fairview High School and Bear Creak and Mesa Elementary; hiking trails the Mesa Trail is right out your front door; and has a community swimming pool and Tennis Courts.
Close in Mountains Real EstateTop
Knollwood: Located at the mouth of Sunshine Canyon. This small neighborhood offers country living in the city. Most lots are in the .75 Acre range and sit just below the hog back. All this and only a short walk to the Pearl Street Mall with great restaurants and shops.
Seven Hills: Located 2 miles up Sunshine canyon, Seven Hills is a great area if you want to be in the mountains, but may have to make soccer practice in 15 minutes. This area offers the best of both worlds.
Boulder Heights Subdivision: Boulder Heights is only a short drive from Broadway and all the new development along North Broadway. This is a great subdivision if you want to enjoy Boulder's ammenities, but still live in a rural mountain setting.
Jamestown: Established in 1867, Jamestown is one of Colorado's original mining towns, which is still evident in the architecture and residences. Jamestown sports a fun general store that is popular for road riders on the weekend as a final destination. A popular mountain biking trail "Miller Rock" is also located close by. Many of our clients that have moved to Jamestown love it for it's sense of community and small town feel.
Pine Brook Hills Subdivision: Pine Brook Hills is known for its location, which provides easy access to downtown Boulder. The entrance to this mountain community begins one mile west of N. Broadway by way of Linden Drive. Views vary, from the eastern lakes and plains to the western snow-laden Continental Divide. Many homes enjoy their own unique hillside setting with a myriad of valley vistas
Sugarloaf: Located just above the Betasso Preserve, which offers Mountain Biking and Hiking. This area is only 15 minutes from Pearl Street.
Gunbarrel Real Estate Top
The main area of focus for Gunbarrel is currently the Boulder Country Club which features a 18 hole golf course, a par three executive course and indoor and outdoor tennis facilities. Gunbarrel just passed a new comprehensive plan for a downtown area which should bring a sense of community and additional services to the area in the near future.
