I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and had some time to spend with family and friends. We all work so hard and we are all so dedicated to our careers that sometimes we need to step back and take a look at our lives. We focus each and every week on the little things that make a difference both at work and at home. That is the point. To make a difference at work AND at home.  Let us never forget that we Work to Live not Live to Work! I also believe there is no try - you either DO or you DO NOT. Priorities are the people and things we place value on. What are…

Many of my friends who work at Sun are excited about the Oracle aquisition and the strength that Oracle and Sun will have together.  The Broomfield campus now gives Oracle and strong position in our area.  It will be interresting to watch the growth.

Stevenson Jacobs reported this morning that Wells Fargo posted surprising profits among loan losses and has a an optimistic view for the year ahead. How is Wells Fargo outperforming many of its competitors? The answer from the the street view is they did they right thing yesterday.

A couple years ago I had several agents in my office come to me and explain we need to have a serious talk with Colorado Mortgage Alliance, our joint venture with Well Fargo, and have them become more "creative" with their loans like the local mortgage brokers are. As we look forward to another great week ahead, we should take some time today to observe the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. Today is more than a day off from school or work. It is a day, in my estimation, that shows us that perseverance and passion and hard work is still needed in our society and anything is possible. Many have said, and I believe, we have come very far. There is still much more work that needs to be done throughout our country and we should all play our part. Today, also reminds me, that we face new and different struggles both as a nation and individually. We can overcome those obstacles and we can bring about a better future for our families and our communities. Just like we have to do with everything we must find the strength to…
