Misleading email makes its rounds again.
It all started with a simpel email that has been going around for a couple years, but I figured we should mention it since I have started getting calls again. In the spring of 2010 at that time Congress had just passed the “Obamacare” health bill a misinterrpretted news article created a flurry of activity on the web.
An opinion piece in the Spokane, Wash., Spokesman-Review reported inaccurately that the health care bill contained a provision for a 4.0 percent “sales tax” or “transfer tax” on the sale of a home. This was seized upon and spread across the country.
