Firefly Summer MarketOutdoor markets are one of the best things about summer in the Front Range. No matter which city you happen to be in, there always seems to be a different one happening nearly everyday of the week. These kinds of events are a great opportunity for local merchants to get the word out about their businesses and generate additional income, while attendees usually enjoy tons of family friendly festivities! This weekend Boulder is playing host to the 2013 Firefly Handmade Summer Market at the Twenty Ninth Street Mall. This open air market features a collection of different handcrafted goods and creations, along with several other kinds of vendors plus Boulder’s most popular food trucks.

The event will run from 10 am to 7 pm on June 29th and from 11 am to 5 pm

If you did not attend the first Bands on the Bricks summer concert series in Boulder this last Wednesday night you will definitely not want to miss the next couple ones!  Bands on the Bricks is going on it’s 16th consecutive year and is one of the best free concert events in the Front Range area.  The festivities are located on the 1300 block of Boulder’s famous Pearl Street Pedestrian Mall right in the heart everything cool. This event runs for 10 weeks until August 14th, 2013 and goes from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Come early, get your seats and enjoy adult refreshments in the beer, wine and margarita garden, or come even earlier and have dinner at one of Boulder’s great eateries. Boulder County Real Estate Statistics: May 2013

  • Through May, 2013 sales continue to outpace 2012 sales by +11.07% (single family); +13.22% (attached units); +11.14% (combined).
  • Through May, 2013 sales are comparable to 2008 sales by +5.36% (single family); -5.06% (attached units); +2.29% (combined).
  • Available listings increased by 12% in May versus April.
  • Homes priced between $1,500,000 and $2,500,000 showed the greatest improvement in lowering YTD Days on the Market.
