As the first leaves of fall descend upon the plains, it reminds us to take advantage the postcard we live in and Colorado's fall colors.

1. Caribou Ranch, Nederland

Just up Boulder Canyon, shy of Peak to Peak Hwy, rests the charming mountain town of Nederland. Nearby Caribou Ranch open space offers sweeping vistas of interconnected aspen forests.

2. Chautauqua, Boulder

Do the Flatirons ever offer a bad view in the neighborhoods of Boulder? Enjoy one of several hikes up and around Chautauqua to appreciate the yellow aspen leaves against a background of golden prairie grass and red flagstone.

3. Gunbarrel, Between Boulder and Longmont

The Boulder and Colorado real estate and law communities lost a true legend and friend on August 31, 2014 with the death of Oliver Frascona.  Oliver's plane tragically crashed with four other people on board during an attempted landing at the Erie Airport.  The BoulderHomeSource and RE/MAX Alliance families are deeply saddened by Oliver's passing.   

When Oliver Frascona walked into a room his energy, charisma and grand smile would enliven and brighten the room.  He was a witty, intelligent, and passionate instructor, speaker, attorney and champion for the real estate community.  His inspiring and engaging teaching methods regarding fairly boring real estate and law topics usually meant his classes were overflowing.  Oliver was always a passionate…
