"Where 'objects trouves' (personal treasures) are the everyday!!!!" If you're a fan of the television show Flea Market Flip on HGTV like we are, then you'll flip for "A Paris Street Market" in Boulder - an open air vintage, antique and artisan market held at Twenty Ninth Street mall. We happened upon the market recently (June 1st) and discovered super cool, one-of-a-kind treasures and gifts for the home, yard, wardrobe, and well actually for just about any area of life that needs enhancing. Just a few examples of items for sale include antique, rustic and refurbished furniture, classic kitchen ware and textiles, vintage cowboy boots and refurbished clothing, french country linens and things, hand-made bags, lovely venerable and hand-crafted jewelry, rustic outdoor art, and so much more. Eco-conscious shoppers will love the opportunity to purchase trendy upcycled, repurposed and refurbished items most offered at fair prices. And, shopping the Paris Street Market it is way more fun that scavenging garage sales on a Saturday morning.

You'll even find a few food vendors to satisfy your hunger. We happened upon a Bavarian bakery that offered delicious Lemon White Chocolate Bread. (Which made delectable french toast the next day!) A beloved bazaar favorite, Kettle corn, is also available for purchase. Families and friends all come to relish and browse the serendipity of it all. As with all treasure hunts and shopping adventures comfy shoes, an abundance of cash in hand, and an adventurous spirit are important when visiting. The producers of the market, Vandel Antiques, also produce "A Paris Street Market" at Aspen Grove in Littleton, Colorado, which we hear is much grander in scale and worth the visit. We encourage you to check out Boulder's own version of "Flea Market Flip", "Junk Gypsies" and "Pawn Stars" at 29th Street next time it's in town. The markets are held the second Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. For more details visit: https://www.aparisstreetmarket.com
