Paul Nor Estates is just a mile east of the Flatirons Golf Course, an 18-hole Boulder golf course with stunning mountain views. Hillcrest Reservoir, Valmont Reservoir, and Leggett Reservoir are just north of the neighborhood. The complex of three reservoirs is a popular spot for bird watchers. Fishing is prohibited, but the reservoirs are open year-round for sightseeing, bird watching, and hiking.

The nearest commercial district and shopping is just a half-mile east of Paul Nor Estates. Grocery stores, retail shops, banks, bars, and restaurants are along Highway 28. There is an elementary and middle school in Paul Nor Estates and a high school just to the west of the neighborhood.

Keewaydin Meadows

This neighborhood is a little more crowded than those mentioned above, but most of the ranch-style homes feature attached garages and mid-sized front yards. There are fewer trees and privacy in Keewaydin Meadows, but it has more of a residential feel with lots of friendly neighbors close by. Ranch-style homes in this neighborhood generally range from $750,000 to $1.2 million.

For outdoor activities, Keewaydin Meadows features the East Boulder Off-Leash Dog Park, a large park with fenced-in areas for large and small dogs and access to a small lake. The East Boulder Community Center has a park with basketball, volleyball, and pickleball courts, as well as an indoor pool. It's in a lovely setting just across the lake from the dog park. Electric vehicles are popular in Keewaydin Meadows, and the neighborhood has two separate large charging stations.
