Boulder CO Mortgage Interest Rates

As I sit here thinking about Boulder CO Real Estate I am struck by the great buying opportunities coming available with low interest rates and a little bit of a cooling in the market with the expiration of the tax credit.

This week marked the fifth week in a row that Mortgage rates have fallen. We truly are in the perfect storm for Buyers. According to Freddie Mac's weekly survey of rates Home mortgage rates fell to the lowest level of the year over the last couple of days.

The 30 year fixed-rate mortgage 4.93% for the week ending Thursday. This is down from last weeks 5% and is up slightly from last years refinance boom of 4.86%. The 15 year rate has dropped to 4.3%

With investors around the world seeking U.S. Treasuries for safety we should continue to see downward pressure on rates.

What I have noticed that is even more impressive are the incredible rates available on Jumbo Loans both for fixed and arms. The 7/1 and 5/1 rates in the Jumbo market have touched into the low 4.25% to 4.5% range.

Honey, we are moving, I need to buy something!!
