The days when neighborhood parks consisted only of a child's playground and a baseball field are over! Today in popular active communities like Boulder, Colorado, parks are more commonly places like big sportsfield complexes, state-of-the-art outdoor facilities, and towering playscapes. With a huge portion of the population in Boulder being one that is fit, many people, not just families with small children, find that an afternoon spent outside at a local park is the perfect way get your fitness on and get close the community you call home.

Some of Boulder's most popular parks like Valmont Bike Park, East Mapleton Ballfields, Eben G. Fine Park, Scott Carpenter Park, Harlow Platts Park, North Boulder Park, Pleasant View Sports Field Complex, and the Boulder Creek Park are huge contributing factors to why people buy homes in the area. As a matter of fact, Boulder resale values are always higher in areas where a solidly community park is located.
