Outdoor markets are one of the best things about summer in the Front Range. No matter which city you happen to be in, there always seems to be a different one happening nearly everyday of the week. These kinds of events are a great opportunity for local merchants to get the word out about their businesses and generate additional income, while attendees usually enjoy tons of family friendly festivities! This weekend Boulder is playing host to the 2013 Firefly Handmade Summer Market at the Twenty Ninth Street Mall. This open air market features a collection of different handcrafted goods and creations, along with several other kinds of vendors plus Boulder’s most popular food trucks.
The event will run from 10 am to 7 pm on June 29th and from 11 am to 5 pm on the 30th. Also, from 7 pm to 10 pm on the 29th, festivities will include a live music concert and beer garden. Come and peruse the works of more than 90 artisans and stroll through Boulder’s newest shopping district. Admission is FREE and includes fun activities for the kids as well. The Firefly Handmade Summer Market just keeps getting bigger and more popular each year, so join them to support local artists this weekend!
