Happy Holidays from Greg Smith 2018

Happy Holidays!

Change and adventure filled the Smith's in 2018! Relocating from Boulder to a recently renovated "modern farmhouse" on 5 acres in east Boulder County was a big change and new adventure for us. And, it renewed our empathy for the endeavor of listing, selling and moving! We appreciate the serenity, beauty, and nature (owls and hawks, and coyotes, oh my!) that surrounds us daily. Our trips this year included several weekends in Steamboat, rafting the Colorado and Arkansas rivers, Ruggerfest in Aspen, and fun times in the eastern US with trips to Gettysburg, Philadelphia, and New York City with Callie.

Whether assisting clients with their real estate needs, helping agents in the office, or coaching high school boys rugby, it's just as well to call Greg "Coach Greg" as he helps and guides people every day. Greg's free time is filled with tending to 5 acres including ponds, pumps, trees, ditches, tractors, bees, critters, and much more. And, his new-found hobby of keeping two bee hives was a success with a 60 lb. harvest of honey, sweet! Skiing, playing rugby, hiking with Cyndy and pups, Tundra & Sampson, and mountain biking are all fun-filled activities for Greg.

Callie has found terrific friends and is enjoying her time at Gettysburg College. Majoring in Environmental Studies, minoring in Women and Gender studies, and facilitating expeditions for Gettysburg Recreational Adventure Board (GRAB), we are very happy and proud of her as she explores and navigates her future. She continues to love the outdoors whether it includes climbing 14er's, skiing, or rafting. This summer Callie learned a bit about real estate while interning at RE/MAX Alliance. Following in her father's footsteps, Callie gave rugby a go this fall and unfortunately, tore her ACL! The perils of being an athlete.

Cyndy continues to explore and delight in painting and art classes, and is grateful to show and sell her work at local cafes and art venues. She's also happy to be back hiking and gardening after having her left hip replaced. Last, but not least, she still enjoys helping Greg with clients and operations at the RE/MAX offices.

Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday season, and a fantastic 2019!

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize there were the big things." Robert Brault.
