Winter Farmer's Market and Holiday Gift Show - Saturday & Sunday, December 7 & 8 , 2013. Colorado handcrafted gifts, goodies and local food, brought to you by the producers of the Boulder and Longmont Farmer's Market. Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont.

State Mercantile Holiday Gift Show - Saturday December 7, 2013, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local artists will display their best works, including jewelry, up-cycled wool fashion, baby gifts and cards/photography, 801 Main St., Louisville. Admission is free.

Shining Mountain Holiday Bazaar - Saturday December 7, 2013, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 60 local artisans and their handcrafted wares. Festival Hall on the Lower School Campus, 999 Violet Ave., Boulder. 303-951-8581.

Art in the Barn - Saturday, December 7, 2013, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. A unique and fun holiday shopping experience featuring local artisans. Three Leaf Farm, 287 & S. Public Rd., Lafayette.

Community United Church Alternative Gift Fair - Saturday, December 7, 2013, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Unique gifts from indigenous artists worldwide will be featured at the annual Alternative Gift Fair Community United Church of Christ, 2650 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder. Information:

YMCA Boulder, Holiday Gift Festival - Sunday, December 15, 2013, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. A holiday shopping extravaganza. Support local artists and businesses, and a live concert will also be featured.

Last Chance Gift Festival - Sunday, December 22, 2013, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Great for procrastinators (husbands?), this festival features unique finds and a free concert. Boulder County Fairgrounds, Longmont.

Many churches, schools and other local organizations also host gift bazaars. Please consider supporting our fine local artisans and gift shows this year!
