One of our favorite art-happenings in Boulder, the Open Studios Fall Artist Tour! This event is taking place this weekend and next, October 5 & 6 and 12 & 13, 2013 at the Museum of Boulder, which is located between the neighborhoods of University Hill and Whittier. Featuring over 100 extremely talented and prized artists in our community, Open Studios is a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists in an intimate setting, most often in their homes or studios. This is a special occasion because many of the artists offer demonstrations and will chat with you about their art. It is also a great opportunity to buy the artists work directly from them.

A few of our favorite artists, including friends and neighbors, participating this year include:

Millicent Kang - millicentkang.com
Timolyn Esson - timolynessonart.com
Kristin Fitzgerrell - studio22art.com
Elizabeth Black - ElizabethBlackArt.com
Mike Brouse - mikebrouse.com

Lael Har - laeldesigns.com

A free opening reception will be held Friday, October 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Boulder Public Library Canyon Gallery (free).
The artists studios are open Saturday & Sunday, October 5 & 6 and 12 & 13, 2013. From Noon - 6 p.m. each day.
