This weekend if you live anywhere around Boulder, I hope you are planning to attend the Open Arts Fest! This event is scheduled for Saturday July 20th, 2013 from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sunday July 21st from 10 am to 5 pm on the Pearl Street Mall. This relatively new festival is a celebration of the local Boulder art scene and will showcase more than 100 artists from all over the country. Only in its 3rd year, the festival has received much praise for its focus and direct involvement of the community. This event is really a great way for the family to get out and get creative, while enjoying a beautiful day walking the Pearl Street Mall, you won't want to miss it!

Outdoor markets are one of the best things about summer in the Front Range. No matter which city you happen to be in, there always seems to be a different one happening nearly everyday of the week. These kinds of events are a great opportunity for local merchants to get the word out about their businesses and generate additional income, while attendees usually enjoy tons of family friendly festivities! This weekend Boulder is playing host to the 2013 Firefly Handmade Summer Market at the Twenty Ninth Street Mall. This open air market features a collection of different handcrafted goods and creations, along with several other kinds of vendors plus Boulder’s most popular food trucks.

- Through May, 2013 sales continue to outpace 2012 sales by +11.07% (single family); +13.22% (attached units); +11.14% (combined).
- Through May, 2013 sales are comparable to 2008 sales by +5.36% (single family); -5.06% (attached units); +2.29% (combined).
- Available listings increased by 12% in May versus April.
- Homes priced between $1,500,000 and $2,500,000 showed the greatest improvement in lowering YTD Days on the Market.
