Boulder's Farmers Market, April 7-November 17, 5 pm, 13th St between Canyon and Arapahoe, Boulder
The Farmers Market is open! Rated No. 1 farmers market in the country by readers of USA today. Every Wednesday 4pm-8pm from May 2 to October 3 and every Saturday 8am-2pm from April 7 to November 17. Come sample, shop, meet local farmers, smell the flowers, hear live music, sit by the creek and eat great food!

The Little Mermaid, Now-Sept 8, Boulder Dinner Theater
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages.

Sounds Exciting Summer Concert Series, June 27-August 8, 6 pm, Lakewood Heritage Center, Lakewood                               The Sounds Exciting Summer Concert Series kicks off on June 27 at Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater. The amphitheater is the area's most picturesque outdoor concert venue, with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. The season package is $30 for 6 concerts and expedited access to the venue. Single tickets are $8. Opener starts at 6:15 pm and headliner at 7:15 pm. 

Colorado Shakespeare Festival, June 22-August 12, Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre, Boulder                                                       A summer of love and ambition under the stars is now playing. Epic love stories, family drama, and laugh-out-loud fun for all! Held on the University of Colorado Boulder campus, this festival is consistently among the most critically acclaimed of its kind.                                                                                                        

Look Who's Living in the Trees, Now-Jan 6, Longmont Museum                                                                                           Explore the forest canopy- indoors! In the Longmont Museum's newest hands-on exhibition visitors roam from tree to tree as they discover the many habitats that trees provide for animals large and small, and people too. Climb through large treehouses, become an animal trackers, get face-to-face with wildlife of all sizes, move your feet on the forest-sound dance floor and more! This exhibition makes learning fun, as visitors explore responsible deforestation wildlife ecology and local epidemics such as the emerald ash borer beetle.   

Swingin' at Stanley - Music & Dance!, June 26-August 28, Stanley Marketplace, Aurora
Live swing music and free swing dance classes from Swingin' Denver and tons of fun on the West Patio at Stanley Marketplace. This is a family and dog-friendly event. Enjoy some drinks and snacks from Stanley businesses in-between dance steps. 

Dead Sea Scrolls, Now- Sept 3, Denver Museum of Nature & Science
The regional premiere of the Dead Sea Scrolls is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see authentic Dead Sea Scrolls and ancient manuscripts dating back over 2,000 years! In addition, the largest collection of artifacts from Israel ever assembled for display will allow guests to explore traditions, beliefs and iconic objects of ancient Israel that continue to impact world cultures today. 

Louisville Street Faire, Fridays 5-9:30pm to Aug 10, Main St & Walnut 
There is great music, excellent food, cold drinks, and lots of children's activities. For four hours life is just like it should be. Free music, great company and happy hour drink pricing from 5-6pm!

Summer Sundays on The Hill, June 24-August 26, 10 am-Noon, Boulder
Every fourth Friday of the summer, enjoy free family-friendly activities. Everything from arts and crafts to city vehicles, tastes of The Hill, and fitness! Sponsored by Daily Camera. Located at 13th and Pennsylvania. 

Boulder Craft Beer Festival, August 18, Boulder 
The Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival brings together the best craft breweries from over 25 Boulder County breweries and beyond. Enjoy food trucks, live music and yard games. Must be over 21 to attend. 

Boulder Stroke & Stride Series, May 31- August 2, 6-7:30 pm, Boulder Reservoir  
The Boulder Stroke & Stride enter its 17th season. It offers Boulder athletes a fun 1-lap 750 meter swim or 2-lap 1500 meter swim in Boulder Reservoir, followed by a 5k run on the reservoir dam. Every Thursday evening throughout the summer, participants enjoy live timing, great post race food, hooded sweatshirts for 6-pack entries and series prizes!
