Clementine Art Studio

Description: Are the kids out of school for the day?   Bring them to Clementine for a day filled with fantastic creative adventures! Full, half-day and drop-in options available!

Boulder Indoor Soccer

ABC Kids Climbing

Description: Want to turn a challenging school day off into a fun-filled, energetic day of exciting and diverse activities for your child or children? All Day Chemistry Fun!

Step into the shoes of a scientist for a day and discover the magical world of chemistry! During this class, you will create your own slime polymers from simple household materials, launch soda bottle rockets, make elephant toothpaste, write secret letters using invisible ink, and react Diet Coke with Mentos (what do you think will happen?). Unleash your inner chemist—join us for a day of exciting experiments!

Muggle Magic

According to a recent Daily Prophet news release, Hogwarts Wizards are coming to CU! Join your fellow wizards-in-training as we participate in several favorite Hogwarts classes – including Potions, Herbology, Hogsmead and, if weather permits, a game of Quidditch!! We’ll learn how to make different liquids change color, fizz and foam, and produce light, explore the magical properties of plants, and learn about the genetics of taste. We’ll even take a turn at Quidditch, as we learn about the science of flight. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore some of the science behind Harry’s wizarding feats – it’s sure to be a magical time.

Intro to Video Game Design

9am-4pm | Ages 10-13 | $78
How would you like to be able to create your own 3D video game? In this one-day class, we will learn what computational thinking and programming is about. We will then move on to learning how to develop a game using AgentCubes software. By the end of the day, we will be able to create a classic arcade game like Pacman, Space Invaders, and Frogger or a simple version of games like SimCity and the Sims; or any game of your own creation!

Stir It Up Cooking School

Descriptions:
Ages 5-8: Beginner to Intermediate
Kids will have fun in the kitchen as they cook, bake and decorate. All classes are hands-on, working in small groups or individually, with lots of personal instruction. The focus will be on kitchen safety and organization as we introduce new flavors and encourage experimentation with recipes. We eat what we make or bring it home.
All classes are limited to 10 children.
Ages 9-13: Intermediate to Advanced
We offer one day camps for all BVSD no school days, holidays and in service days.
Join us in the kitchen for hands-on cooking, baking and decorating. Learn new techniques as we “get creative” with new recipes. These classes are designed for intermediate to advanced Junior Chefs.

American Red Cross Babysitting - Boulder JCC

Description/Cost: This class will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-aged children. It combines video, activities, hands-on skills training and discussion for a complete learning experience. Babysitter’s training shows you how to: respond to emergencies and illnesses with first aid, rescue breathing and other appropriate care, communicate with parents to learn household rules, recognize safety and hygiene issues, manage young children and feed, diaper and care for infants. 
$90 per person (includes books, CD-rom, instructor fees, class materials, certifications, and pizza lunch)

Yom Kef Day of Fun  - Boulder JCC

Science Adventure Program

Description: Join us on Nov. 11, when we will take a trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to see the new exhibit on whales, learn about our bodies in the health exhibit, and a fun scavenger hunt for Colorado ecosystems and wildlife. We'll also get outdoors for a picnic, group game, and hike around the lake at City Park.
Cost: $80 includes museum admission. 

Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center

Description: How do animals survive winter?  How would you survive in the wild?  Practice survival skills by making your own shelter, hunting & gathering, stalking & tracking.  Search for signs of animals preparing  for winter.

Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids
